The Southern Cotswolds Day 1 pm

After my speedy morning in Chichester, i sped down the road to Malmesbury.

This is a quaint little market town, centred around Malmesbury Abbey, which largely survived the Dissolution of the monasteries.

The Abbey has a beautiful entrance through a little gate house, and round the corner the view below hits you.

I went in, but unfortunately couldn't stay because a funeral was about to start, so i left for an hours little stroll.

I went off round this sleepy little town.

Then i found the beautiful little bridge, and made some new friends.

Later I made it back to the Market square, and loved the ornate underside.

The inside of the Abbey is beautiful

This was a lovely first day in the Cotswolds, i look forward to sharing my other days with you.

South Cotswolds Day 1 am

Last week i did a little mini tour of some of the southern cotswolds, and stopped off at a few places.

Day 1 was cirencester in the morning. I had a lovely little stroll, and a cup of tea, then popped into the Parish Church to take some pictures.

I spent a few hours wondering around the inside looking for shapes and patterns to photograph

After spending too much time in the church, i quickly grabbed a sandwich, hopped into my car, and sped off for the next destination.......
More on that tomorrow.

Goodbye Cirencester, thank you for accommodating me for my fleeting visit, hopefully next time ill explore a little more.

A Beautiful Mess

I think a large number of us might use these words to describe our life sometimes... A Beautiful Mess, at least i know i do.

Here arrives a lovely little app that creates little beautiful messes out of your photos. (If you're using iPhone, you must have IOS 6 to use it)

I have thoroughly enjoyed playing with it over the past week or so, and thought i would share some of my beautifully messy creations.

These are so much fun to create. Simple and quick, and whatever you do with them they look wonderful.

My Favourite blogger Rosie Londoner used this app in a few of her instagram pictures which is how i found it. Check out her lifestyle blog for some lovely posts.
